Recruiting question

I have a friend with a lapsed account who is thinking of coming back again.

Can I use my recruit a friend code for her and I to get bonus items when she comes back?

If I remember right you email them an invitation and they need to use that when setting the account up, so it wouldn't work for people who have been away for a long time. I'm 98% sure anyway.

It should work, i sent an invite to a friend that only played during 1.0.

They after the first month they signed up for 120 days and i got the draught chocobo right away.

They used the same account they did back in 1.0 legacy status and all so they had subscribed to the game before hand. i think they need to have been unsubscribed for a specified amount of time.

She has a 2.0 account. But hasn't played for like a year or more.

I'll have her wait a bit before we do this just to see.

As long as they haven't PAID for any subscription, then you can still use recruit a friend codes, for example if they only played 2.0 on the free trial.

If they did subscribe for even a month though, you can't use it.
