    Please make story/dungeons at least a little challenging. (Heavensward)

    I've been running the story and ran into a number of instanced fights as well as getting into Dusk Vigil with a random group of people sitting outside.

    Everything has been a complete faceroll so far. I've not seen one death; no one died nor wipes in Dusk Vigil. We didn't even have to care about boss mechanics. And from what I understand, Dusk Vigil was a side dungeon so that could even have reason for being higher difficulty than a story dungeon because players aren't required to complete it.

    The dungeon was very aesthetically pleasing, but without any challenge nor any type of exploration in the actual dungeon there wasn't much enjoyment to it.

    [EDIT] I should mention the Dusk Vigil run was with a MCH and a DRK, so I don't think they were overgeared.

    Go do it on the minimum ilvl sync option.

    Well, we can have that, or I could just have a smooth experience in Duty Finder even with people that aren't doing their best. Or even close to it.

    I get the desire for challenge, but I think there'll be plenty of it at 60. For just story progress and hard mode duties and regular dungeons, I've been pretty content with their difficulty.

    You need to complete Dark Vigil to be able to fly in that zone.

    And while it indeedy seems like a faceroll, keep in mind that just about everyone playing it is wearing ilevel 120/130/135 gear in a dungeon that was designed for for 115.

    I'm not gonna say it felt hard (I died trying to prevent the DPS from dying after one of them pulled the monsters while the Tank was in the next room.) The MSQ content on healer is harder, albeit again, note overgear.

    Just goes to show, you can't please everyone. I personally found the new dungeons to have the right balance of difficulty. Understanding the item level that the devs expected you to have at reaching that point is critical here. Most of us outgear the dungeon because we're item level 130 or so, a level which is supposed to carry us well into the level 55 range. The quest rewards at around level 52 are item level 115-125, as are the dungeon drops.

    That being said, I found it enjoyable and there were some nice mechanics on the bosses. The second dungeon I especially enjoyed (do try to avoid posting spoilers if you know which one I'm talking about).

    I agree that dusk vigil was very boring and way too easy. And since it wasn't in story quest they could've made it harder.

    I don't like it when they make main quests things like trials hard though because then as soon as you say you are new people will instaquit and you need to requeue again.

    (I'm having over an hour queue to ravana, and also dusk vigil, hows you queuetimes?)

    Got a friend that's been stuck on the level 42 duty with the siren and adds for four days and refuses to do it until he's at maximum level for the sync because he's DRG and bad and can't stop dying and has almost rage quit twice now.

    Story content being difficult is a terrible idea.

    Nah, just folks in Dreadwyrm in a zone designed for 115.

    Thok ast Thok (Hard) is much more difficult, wiped 4-5 times and almost ran out of time on it.

    What's the min ilevel for Dusk Vigil? I don't see it mentioned on DF.

    But I don't think we even failed any mechanics. It didn't seem like because we were overgeared. But I'll try min ilevel.
