Invite a Friend (but don't play with them!!)

I'm glad the new invite a friend system got introduced with all the cool new rewards and the additional assists to the new player... but I've invited two friends and NEITHER of them can join my server because of character creation restrictions being WAY too hardcore. I realize it's an early access launch window for Heavensward, but I can't help but feel that there should be some sort of system in place to allow a player to create a character and enter a queue just like any previously created character. Instead my friends are wasting their 30 free days without even getting to play.

Way to impress the new players who are looking to play with friends. Shoehorn 'em into low pop servers no one wants to play on...

You are correct -its the worst time to start a subscription since you will lose a lot of payed time.

Because, well its to be expected that when an game expansion comes out everyone gets curious and wants to try it out.

the data centers seem to be unable to handle the amount of players that want to login at the same time

we just have to wait a few days and everything will settle down, i hope
