    Fate exp is questionably low.

    Ignoring the very annoying fate scaling, getting 18k from a let's say...level 53(?) FATE is just odd especially since I can just run to Northern Thanalan for better EXP. I thought at first that this was a way to encourage side questing as they weren't as needed in 2.0, so I thought it was ok. However, given our exp table, how will we level in the fields aside from roulette etc. When our main classes ate up our sidequests? I already almost finished all the churning mists quest, and i'm level 56.

    Do Northern Fates until you break.

    Its only 500 fates... Do you like grinding?

    Honestly, I'm not really big on leveling atm until they nerf experience.

    you don't have armory bonus exp, the +50% of exp you will get past 50 if you have a jobs 60.
    18k fate will become 27k fate with this.

    There are several level 60 players already on battle classes... I would say FATEs are even a bit too much, just like at ARR launch.

    Taking into account the massive amount of running you have to do in majority of the side quests, I'd say FATEs are better XP than them. I swear 80% of the time spent on side quests is just running to and from them.

    50-60 is supposed to take longer. I don't want to be all 60's or see all 60's in less than a month. Then what the hell will I do?

    yes, i think they said 50-60 will take the same time like 1-50

    That's how it has always been with FFXI, too. The next cap always took about the same time as all the levels before it. Until the 99 level cap increase, of course.
