Oh i took your context wrong since you said supposed to.
Who the hell is this clown?
Oh wait!!!!
Can't believe I didn't remember this before.
S4 League
There's a game perfectly suited to what you want, it's got all the running, jumping, dodging, shooting and swordplay you could ever want in an extremely flashy and funky style, and has great music to go with it.
I bet their response to S4 League will be "Nah, looks crap"
I think the response to action MMOs has generally been quite positive. Recent polls suggest most players want action-oriented combat, and also polls suggest non-MMO players dont play MMOs due to the slow combat-style. I mean, the leap from coming even from a FF game is big. And so, many prospective buyers wont play FF due to their perception of the combat as boring.
The R46 quest was pretty well-received (personally I thought it was tacky and over the top), which just goes to show that most people really do prefer action over boredom, contrary to what the FFXIV/SE defense force assures us.

This is not an action MMORPG Gift. It never was, and it probably never will be. It is an MMORPG with minor action elements that relate to real time combat, like positioning and distance. Not every game these days has to be an action game. You can still have fun with games that don't have heavy action elements just as you can enjoy a movie without explosions. I'm sorry this game didn't turn out to be the action packed high fantasy extravaganza you where apparently expecting it to be, but judging from the direction the game is flowing in, I'd suspect it will never go there.I think the response to action MMOs has generally been quite positive. And you know what?
That's fine.
