2-handed Weapon Grips

I was thinking the same thing, if done right, grips could be useful equipment, adding accuracy, haste, or +mp for mages

Tassels where our materia could hang from the pommels of the weapons seem better than grips imo (And I think that grips was the ultimate choice in XI primarily due to the limitations of PS2, yes I said it) So I would like to see something a little more graphically superior, imo.

I actually like this idea, and I don't mind if it's a Grip or a Tassle at the end of a hilt, as long as that secondary slot is somehow being used.

I wonder how broken it would be to have each materia on a 2h weapon be "doubled up" in compensation. It would be kinda unfair if you make it to 5 materia though, since it's less work than a weapon + shield.

Maybe only certain materia works with shields? Shield-relevant ones? haha
