Another Tetra/Triple Triad thread

Something with a little more...involvement, speed, strategy, and ~collectibles!~.

You spent way too much time typing collectibles XD

A chess game would be a lot of fun, especially if the chees pieces had the appearance of previous Final Fantasy characters (King cloud, Queen Tifa, Red XIII Rook etc.). Maybe even let players choose the game their chess pieces are themed from so everyone can play it using their favorite FF characters ^.^

I vote something Original for XIV, maybe spice it with a little Tetra Master and Triple Triad system and add it with XIV's Card system? I'm all for epicness.

Absolutely Yes to Akihiko Yoshida on the Card's Art!!! I always loved his Art! I like Tetsuya Nomura's Art too

EDIT: Does anyone who played .HACK//G.U. remember those Card game? I think it'd be awesome If we had some Championship/Tournament and had prizes/rewards for winning.
It should be In the game, of course, With Casino type of place!

If they make the card game unique to FFXIV, and not use a previous card game.
Outside of the card game itsself each card could have a certain element or effect
If equiped on your throwing hand, or have a Class/Job devoted to it.
The rarer card could have huge effects
