Every time i start getting really into it i hit another level gate.

I'm loving it like micky D's. Can't wait to see my DRK in action at level 50+.

Save the side quests for an alt class. You probably won't need the xp.
I'm liking it so far. I'm past at the second dungeon now, so a good chunk done.

Much of the story is locked behind side quest and chains after chains of side quest. They shouldn't be labeled side quest because they are a necessity.
Between real life responsibilities and being unable to log in most of the time, I haven't gotten too much farther in the story, but have enjoyed what I've seen so far.

Neither you nor the charcter has all the info yet.I haven't really had the chance to get very far into the expansion story yet, so no comment there. The direction of the "Before the Fall" patch made sense, but made the mistake of giving the main protagonist all the same information as the player. Armed with that info, certain events should have ended very differently. On a small side quest its no big deal. However, it did sting a bit, having been directly involved in a major turning point in the plot.

i was actually thinking about doing that when i finally start working on my machinist but get too involved in the story :P was contemplating stopping my bard at 58 n grinding out the rest so i got some quests for my machinist but generally the last few levels b4 cap are always the hardest ;/ so undecided atm

I think parts of it are terrible for certain reasons that would probably pretty much spoil things if I elaborated on them, to be honest.
But, there are some pretty excellent bits in there, too. Mixed bag, really.
I enjoyed the twists and the revelations so far and that fight scene in the air was pretty sweet.

I'm absolutely loving the plot so far. The one thing I will say, is that the level 53 dungeon feels counter to the goals. We come in peace, shoot to kill. It would have been interesting to re-introduce the parlay system here but obviously wouldn't have made for a fun dungeon.
One minor thing I do like is that we have a choice of dialogue. It may not change the outcome of events, but at least it feels more interactive. Our characters finally have a voice, and I intend to use it. I do find it amusing that "....' is one of the options every time though![]()
