Asylum Area friction?

It says it "can't be used with any other area creating action." So if a WHM uses Asylum and a SCH casts Sacred Soil or AST casts Celestial Opposition, what determines which one will be ineffective? Or am I misinterpreting the description?

Only one area based effect can be active per person.

All this text means is that a WHM cannot have both Asylum and Sacred Prism(The PvP ability) active at the same time.
