So it seems since the last patch I can no longer fish these up using the same methods as pre 3.0. Anyone else? I looked through the patch notes and other than the tomestones I see no other changes, unless I missed them.

I always went to the Tangle using glow worms, would fish one up in 10 casts or less most of the time, very rare was it more. One incident I didn't get one and the notice "fish sense something is amiss" came up, but just went to Reaver Hide and got it there. Even there it is not working.

Of course though with all the hype on the xpansion, maybe no one is doing them. I have not caught one since the patch and have been trying constantly, and the timer is up.

It's called Snagging, but yeah. You can't fish up maps anymore without that active.

And I'm a take a wild guess and say its part of the expansion?

Part of the expansion but the ability is available at a relatively low level, early 20s perhaps? All DoL have new, low level abilities available.

Forgot to say, you don't need Heavensward to use them, they should apply to everyone as they're lower than lvl51.
