I have put all in VIT and I don't have any problem with the aggro. The DK has a good aggro generation

MAIN JOB : PALADIN/MAGE ROUGE
it probably wont really matter
10k hp was like lol in second coil. u didnt really need a lot more than that. so what im saying is, it will probably be noticable early on but as we drag on, the value of 30 vit will probably diminish quickly
go with what you want, change it if you need to. not a lot to really discuss or stress over, especially with tomes of the keeper only costing 250 company seals now.

Str or vit is a discussion that will keep going for a while.
you only need vit enough to survive tankbuster moves and the like (even in progression) after that just go full str. maybe even some str accesories.
if you can the survive the biggest hits, then all the extra hp is pretty much wasted, so you might aswell get more dps.
The harder you hit, the better Soul Eater will heal you for. Plus it slightly helps the healer if you use Living Dead, (and for some ungodly reason can't heal you immediately), as they have to heal you for a lower amount.
Honestly though, we won't know until Alexander.
I've been going 2:1 vit:str whilst levelling for the extra hitting power. It seems to be working well enough for the time being.
Full Str Pros:
It will help on your initial hate combo.
It will help you get more mp back on siphon strike.
It will help you get more hp back on Souleater.
Full Vit Pros:
You have more hp.
I think the effective hp is greater with full str using Soul Eater than what you can get from the Vit.
30 points of Vit = 435 hp.
Souleater restores 700+ hp with darkarts with full str build. Not sure what it is without the extra str. This was at level 50. If anyone could post how much hp their souleater restored with vit that would be good.
If not I will do some testing when I get home.

STR is the most common stat build since once you hit 60 even with a full STR build you're still around 12K HP. Ive actually only come across one other tank that was still rocking a full VIT build at level 60. Mind you he wasn't rocking any i180 gear but he had 14.1K HP which I think it pretty awesome.
Full VIT is the standard safe-bet but at high levels, 30 points equates to very little of your total VIT/HP pool. But every little bit counts in some cases.
STR will increase your agro generation a bit and your damage output a bit, which actually is useful for DRK since it helps MP and HP regen. IMO this is probably the best choice.
PIE is interesting. I tried swapping over to full PIE to see the results and they are somewhat beneficial. It increased my MP pool a good bit, so it can help with making MP management a little easier and if you wanted to do a big burst with lots of DA usage, which in turn can increase dps a bit as well as eHP from self-heals. I'm not fully certain of its value compared to VIT or STR yet. It seems like it could potentially be more useful than VIT(bonus points from levelling, not gear. You still want tons of +VIT from that and in general), but I still feel that STR will be the best option overall.
So short answer, imo STR.
I always wondered about PIE, thanks for looking into it.
I can see how it would make things more manageable since the abilities scale up in MP cost by level and not max MP amount (I think). One thing to also keep in mind is that, IIRC, MP refreshes at 2% of your max MP in combat so you'll be getting bigger ticks if you invest more in PIE which may help combat the Darkside drain (since I assume that drain is based on level scaling and not MP scaling too, correct me if I'm wrong).
I did full STR but i was wondering as the boost is +33 with all the points, it could be better to go full VIT then switch a jewel VIT for a STR one, then you can switch whenever you want between STR - VIT.
Else, maybe it's a good option to go full STR jewel too, but the lose of PV is to much.
Also, STR also reduce damage from block/parry, so with siphon/soul it is really a great stat for us.
