How is BLM in new expansion?

Wow I'm sorry my success hurts you so! I do raid btw, check out my lodestone, I don't hide my achievements. Remember there will always be people more skilled than others. It seems that this time is one of those cases. Hope you figure out the new rotation! If you have any questions on what to do I'll be more than happy to leave so tips for you.

I did look at your achievements before making my post. The only content you've done in heavensward is dungeons and hunts. Nothing that is mechanic heavy.
If alexander savage is anything like bismarck extreme, Nobody will ever bring a blm over smn due to lower single target damage when movement/mechanic is involved. lower aoe, less utility and less mobility.

The only part of your comment that really gets to me is the, "Nobody will ever bring a blm over a smn" part. Your static, maybe. I'm only saying I look at all of this as a challenge and I will accept that challenge. Regardless of what the fight is, there will be a way for me to do outstanding dps, whether you believe that or not. I have plenty faith in my abilities to make the best of any bad situation. My static currently knows what I can do and they are not pushing me to go SMN or kicking me out of the group for a SMN. Sure there will be the really great (And I mean REALLY great) summoners who will be able to out dps me in any fight, but I would still be willing to bet the farm that I'll still out dps the majority of SMNs in any raid. And we don't even know what Alexander is going to look like yet as far as mechanics, so I'm not sure why you're so hell bent on hating BLM

Any casual raid group won't give a damn about what you play. "Play what you prefer." In a serious hardcore group, they pick the best job. Let's see what we have right now.

TANKS:
Paladin
Warrior
Warrior has Storm Path and outdps Bards, it's silly to not get one. Paladin is the only job with Strength debuff. No matter how you see Dark knight with Int debuff, Monk can do it.

HEALERS:
White Mage
Astrologian
Not because Scholar is bad. White mage is really OP right now and can pull 900 dps on a dummy. They heal stronger than SCH and AST buffs are just too good.

DPS:
Monk
Dragoon/Ninja
Bard
Summoner
Monk has Int Debuff. I don't know what is stronger between Battle Litany or Trick Attack. Bard still provide superior support than Machinist. Summoner is the best choice for caster.
