Eternity Ring Issue - Can not teleport in Heavensward 3.0 areas?

Every time my EB partner and I try to teleport to each other in any of the new Heavensward areas, we are unable to. (Ishgard, Sea of clouds, and Coerthas Western Highlands were tested)

In every attempt, we receive the following message: "Unable to leave the area". This happens every time, no matter how close or far apart our characters are. It also does not affect the outcome whether we are on same or separate maps.

We are however, able to teleport properly in any 2.0 areas.

having the same problem, only I can teleport to her, but she can't teleport to me.

Do both of you own Heavensward and/or available to participate in Early Access? I know it seems like a stupid question, but that could potentially be why.

Same here. Could not teleport from Lavender Beds to HW. Didn't try teleporting from HW to old zone. Maybe after Tuesday and we all register our full game Keys it will work? In the mean time, hope we get an SE response here.

I've been able to teleport out of HW areas, but not into them from 2.0 zones. Both accounts have HW access.

Same also, it seems if my girlfriend, who also has HW EA, is in a HW area, the ring simply doesn't work.

This might have to do with the instancing done. Since the only way to end up in the same "version" of the HW zone as your partner is to form a party and enter on foot, and it's not an aetheryte, there is no guarantee the game will be able to place you in that same instance so it stops.

I was in the same area with my partner, instance and everything. Could not teleport in 3.0 areas.
