Because we had it and ppl complain enough that now we dont have it.Why doesn't this game have an auto kick for afk? EVERY other MMO that has a spit of popularity to it, as one, some a bit too fast, others a reasonable timeframe, but at least something to kick off afkers, and more likely, the atrocious amount of spam bots that are ruining the enjoyment of the game for most of us.
Implement a bloody 30 minute afk kick off policy, at the least.
And to the AFKers clogging up the servers... log off and save electricity, and your comp some wear and tear. Not even a ding dong tree hippie here and I'm hollering this at yah all. Jeeze almighty. =><= If you're not playing, you're not playing. Give it up, ego morons.
I love the official forums, they tell you to use the search for thread about what you wanted to talk but when you use it they judge for necro a thread.

Then it's time we complain right back. It's clearing being abused by the spammers. I for once 'can' live with an afk boot. Anyone afk for that long, isn't at the comp. if they are, waiting on a node spawn timer, can get into the habit of logging in five minutes before said spawn, instead of sitting, doing nothing, while essentially wasting server space. And apparently, most of the afkers are just sitting at an aetherite, garnering EXP bonus (at best) apparently. Jeeze, most of those node spawn campers, probably have tablet/ipod apps for this stuff, like I do. Anywho, a month from now, maybe it all wont matter. For the moment however, I'm making noise about it, since I'm being denied some (blank) good story, cause of friggen coding problems.
So I'll make the noise, and a month from now, this'll be forgotten. Put BACK the AFK auto-kick timer. 30 minutes is reasonable. End of Line.
How old a FF player am I? I had FF I from day one on the original Nintendo. =^^=
