whats perfect to you w
the rng nature throws it off a bit (since on instant cast skills you can double weave)
there's odowla and my parse vid if you just wanted like, baselines or something

To be honest, it's only for the GCD/oCD usage, rather than the numbers.
This is extremely negligible but worth a share anyway: If you're in a sanctuary and log out then log back in after your initial opener you can reset your cross class cooldowns. So in the case of Raging Strikes, you don't have to wait the extra minute after HC is done...

We can probably figure in RNG. Basically do a Rotation and fill in all the chanced procs with some sort of counter.
If we assume a 7 shots you would get 1120 Potency or 160 Potency per shot given perfect RNG. It wouldn't be perfect but it would be accurate enough for the purposes that Dervy has in mind (potentially). We would also assume that every Reload you be 1-2-3-1-2
That is nice. I think the only thing I do different is Gauss Round before Hot shot so that it is back up before Wildfire falls of.
Obviously it wont effect wildfire but I think it adds a bit more burst.
the average potency etc is simple to guesstimate, it's just a problem of how to handle double oGCDs when RNG procs come into play. like for example, on my 2nd wildfire, if i have a proc lined up after the wildfire cast, it's really great because at the point in time i have like 4 oGCDs to go through usually (rapid, QR, head graze, gauss round, maybe blank). We can probably figure in RNG. example
clean shot saved>hot shot>(buffs)>lead shot>(wildfire)>clean shot>(GR+head graze)>split shit (quick reload+split shot procced)>slug shot (rapid fire+blank)>split shot>clean shot>split shot etc
no proc saved >hot shot>(buffs)>lead shot>(wildfire)>split shot(no proc+gr)>split shot (no proc+head graze) > split shot (proc+QR) > slug shot (rapid+proc) > split shot (blank) > clean shot etc
in the first one it doesn't take long to unload your oGCDs because you saved a proc to take advantage of double oGCDs, but in the second one, you didn't have a proc and you're unlucky, so your OGCD order is messed up or delayed
I wish you guys had big guns like Tera's gunner.

Fair enough. Probably best if we just assume one oGCD per GCD during the second Wildfire. It comes pretty close to the 2 minute mark anyway so it may not make a difference in this example.
Procs and Buffs are all averaged out in my damage models anyway. If you wanted an actual sim, well, poor Pandabearcat has to sort that out. Like, are there any special CD alignments for a MCH, like what a Bard does? (Barrage + Empy Arrow etc). That's kinda what I need a parse log to see, then just copy the GCD rotation until I can identify a loop somewhere.
But I mean, if the GCD changes depending on what procs you get, then this is gonna be pretty tricky for me to do as it would literally require me to level up MCH to understand how it works.

to put it into dragoon terms
machinist true thrust (split shot) has a 50% chance to proc vorpal thrust as a combo action, and vorpal thrust (slug shot) has a 50% chance to proc full thrust (clean shot) as a combo action, 100% with ammo for both. ammo is depleted by 1 on every weapon skill, reloaded by QR and reload. procced vorpal thrust/full thrust (slug shot/clean shot) in gauss barrel have no cast times, but everything else in gauss barrel without rapid fire has cast times (roughly around 1.5s before skill speed reduction)
