I would say this calculation suggests that you could drop GB after opener and not suffer DPS loss. However, this calculation assumes that your AA hit all the time, which in a real battle that might not be the case.
Well, the gauss round adds another 36.86 dps every 2.5 seconds under the same conditions. That is if you split the potency per cast over the normal 2.5 second GCD. Basically, you lose dps if you miss casting a gauss round because of AA. Although, if you could get the benefit of gauss round + auto attack, you have added dps. All in theory of course![]()
