http://youtu.be/SXIHJVO2x6c Does anyone see any major mistakes in this video not listed in the description? I can't seem to push for that final ~70 dps I need, and this is the only thread where people seem to be pointing out mistakes. The highest I've parsed with this setup (law chest, prototype everything else left side and same right side mix as Aiurily) is 1076, which makes me feel like I'm missing something.
highest one so far (in a2s):

Alright I'm at a loss and frustrated besides. I cannot seem to consistently burst in my opener over 6k... this is with eso wep (i189) and following Aiuri's 3.05 opener. Does anyone have any ideas what could be going wrong?

While translation is a large part of our job, what is not known by many is that the EN localization team plays a large role in the creation of a lot of in-game terminology and lore which is then localized back into Japanese (with liberties often taken by the Japanese team so that the text might appear more appealing to their target Japanese audience).
If you're using a training dummy in housing area without another person in the zone with you for the DEX party bonus, grab your chocobo and smack the dummies in the open world for better results. that's all I can think of.

Are you clipping GCDs? Using all your oGCDs? Raging, Hawks, B4B, Hypercharge up?

Ive done it in Goblet and Falcon Nest, with choco, with same results... Seriously frustrated over this...

hmm...go ahead and post up your opener minus a potion. I did 3 openers (posted a page ago) since I read your post and I hit 6.4k on the first, 6.3k on the second, and 6.5k on the third. [EDIT]: fourth burst was 6011 and fifth was 6448
I do have my eso shotty but I'm only i186 so I think it's got something to do with your rotation or how you're executing it.

As for clipping, maybe. Though not 100% what that means as I usually only hear clip used with dots.

While you should probably be closer to 7-8K wildfires you gotta remember these guys are getting 10k in a full group. That means they are getting dragoon piercing, crit buff and possibly Nin buff if they have one . You should probably keep practicing your rotation as your probably clipping as well which slows down your opener.
