Our damage type is piercing. Ricochet hits twice, once for 100 potency and then a second time for 300, split on targets. If one target, it hits twice for 100 + 300 on the target. Reassemble will not work due to the skill not being a weapon skill. Hope it helpsI've load some parse with the hypercharge rotation, the DPS loss seems to be a bit higher (~17%), and don't forget that the bard have the FOE with no DPS loss and up DPS of mage/sumn/...
Also i've some things that bother me "again". The first one is "what type of damage we do" ? And the second one is on the opener you use ricochet, i've hear that ricochet is on one targe 400 potency i've not the skill yet so i don't know if it does 1 hit or 4 hit, if it's really that can it's be good to use reassemble on the ricochet ?![]()
Do both hits crit together or individually? (Natural crits)
Same could be said about any job. Its the reason everyone uses 3:00 - 3:30 min to parse. A 6-10 min parse wouldn't make sense because you would go TP starved. Not to mention you want a raid parse which would mean raid buffs and DRG debuff along with TRK Atk? Not gonna happen sorry.
I posted on reddit my parse so folks could get a idea of what we got going for us. Both was done with a GB and Only GB in the opener using the rotations talked about here. Ill said it once and Ill say it again, This class revolves around RNG. No other jobs PURE damage is from RNG. Yes we have Reload but thats once a min. Image how crappy SMN damage would be if the only thing they had to use after aether flow was Ruin I lol.

As I'm understand it right now, the turret makes up about 15% of your total dps (which is why mch below level 40 kind of suffers), so promoting it cuts about that much from your dps since the turret won't be contributing anymore.
from the looks of it mch is gonna need a lot of buffs before alex if a mch is gonna see the light of the raid.
gb should only be used for rapid fire and wildfire outside of that its a dps lost.
the biggest problem is fuck the people like me wanting to try a new class to 60 and coming on the short end of the stick out of every class currently available by a ton.
The simulator turns barrel on every 90s and wait for the next clean shot to turn it off (since you don't have reload up every 90s). I don't think this is optimal. So after the opener, toggling the barrel on every 90 seconds? or 120s? What buffs should I postpone if any?

Ah yeah, that isn't optimal. I fixed it so it turns off when Ricochet + Gauss Round has been used, which results in higher potency.
The barrel was only toggled on every 90 seconds, using it with Raging Strikes + Hawk's Eye + Blood for Blood + Wildfire + Rapid Fire.
I tried running the simulation with a 30 second delay on those skills so bringing the CD of Hawk's Eye + Blood for Blood + Wildfire + Rapid Fire to 120s to line up with Hypercharge, and the results are:
w/ 90s on Hawk's Eye + Blood for Blood + Wildfire + Rapid Fire
The total potency was: 22739425.6275 over 270 seconds.
w/ 120s on Hawk's Eye + Blood for Blood + Wildfire + Rapid Fire so you can line it up with Hypercharge
The total potency was: 22235026.6965 over 270 seconds.
So it's not worth waiting the extra 30s to line up the CDs with Hypercharge.
Does Machinist have access to a machine gun or a machine gun like play style?
