If this is the issue, can we please have free server transferrs as well as dedicated RP servers per data center?Greetings,
I'd like to a moment to clarify the errors you're seeing when attempting to log into the Aether data center. These errors are not something to do with a bug, or unexpected problem, on the part of the lobby server or World servers. What you're seeing with these errors is a result of the massive congestion surround Balmung and Gilgamesh (two of the largest NA Worlds), which happen to be on Aether. These two Worlds maintain an almost maximum number of concurrent users because of how large the population is on both of them. The errors you're experiencing are due to the large amount of congestion.
While the Development and Operations teams are working to ensure that the servers are stable and doing everything they can to avoid downtime, unfortunately, this issue a result of the large populations being housed on the Aether data center.
We truly apologize for the frustration experienced and ask for your patience and understanding.

Traffic? I'm paying taxes to HAVE a road. I'm paying SE to play a game. I pay my internet company to provide a digital road to SE.
How is it not fraud? Cause people purchased a product they can't use. It's like buying a safe you can't open.
Although this makes me laugh, They are having problems cause their game is too popular. I guess these are the better reasons for having issues with their game, not like poor wildstar.
Soo from what I understand, if we have this much trouble during early access what will happen at official launch? THEN the welcome back campaign??!?
I guess some of us won't be able to play for a month ugh....
No, it's like having a safe that you share with hundreds of thousands of other people. And you have to wait in line because everybody wants to use the safe at once.
Squeenix is calling the Canadian datacenters to tell them how to get 110% efficiency, but there's no translators to translate from Japanese to Canadian
We're all newbs, some are just more newbier than others.
Burned out Raider turned Casual turned Tired gamer.
"I'm getting too old for this [REDACTED]"
Ah so it's like a storage center with a line of cars so long you can't actual get in to store anything. Sounds like a bait and switch still. You'd think the storage center would add another entryway.
well at least we know this game is popular
I think in this case it has far less to do with work ethic, and far more to do with the fact SE has two data centers for a continent with over 400 million inhabitants while they have three data centers for their home country and surrounding regions that contain less than half North America's populace.
I don't buy the "Balmung and Gilgamesh are almost always maxed" excuse. The Mana Japanese server is at least as populated if not more than Aether, and it's running fine. The difference? Japanese data center vs Canadian. It's a staffing issue, most likely.
