Besaid was the original 'unofficial' RP server before it became Balmung, so RPers didn't 'invade' anything. They pretty much were clear in their intent where they wanted to go from the start, and people just congrigated there normally. SE's been lax in declaring an official RP server so the RPers were quick in making their own choices.
