I know, I think the only safe solution is to pack ones bags and head for diabolos or one of the other servers on the other data center. It's just we have to log in first to meet all the criteria to even do that.

If onyl they would offer more incentive to leave the server, especially for legacy players with more than 10 million gil.

Why can't they do what The Elder Scrolls Online did at first launch?! They had TEMPORARY severs set up to handle overflow, literally called "overflow servers" until the population stabilized. And they have only two servers, a European megaserver and a NA megaserver. I was usually thrown into the overflow server during peak times, when a spot would open, you'd be zoned into the actual server. Everything functioned, all the NPCs were there, you could gather and craft, and work on quests and whatnot while on the overflow server.

I hate that the other servers are paying the price for having Balmung AND Gilgamesh in the same Data Center. Took us hours to be able to finally log into Adamantoise.

This will continue through launch, just not sure how long after. Seems odd that the basic connection issues are prevalent when they took pains to instance areas. Do they tack extra time onto subs when the servers are practically inaccessible for 2-3 weeks and subs are 30 days?
