Keep receiving a 5006 login error when trying to connect to the primal data center. Tried restarting the computer and also switching to another data center and switching back, no luck, still receive the error over and over. Please fix this, thank you!

Unfortunately there's nothing to fix. It's pure congestion that the mass surge of players attempting to log in at the same time are creating. We're ddossing ourselves. Until the mass influx of player logins ebb, it's not going to get resolved. There was a dev post back some pages in this thread on it.

That and they seriously think hundreds of people at random will say, "You know what? I WILL switch servers! Thanks!"
Gil cap and cost aside, would anyone suggesting that altruistically remove themselves from a dense pop server on the off chance you're making the data server cry less?

Annoying: I don't even play on the overcrowded servers mentioned but I'm on the same data center. Since Heavensward started I have been able to log in once, and after playing for around an hour it DC'd me and I didn't get to play again that night.
Between this, and the magical fact that I'm being required to change my password every few weeks is getting annoying.

I was away for the launch of early access I got back today and surprise there problems xD exact same thing happen when RR launch guys I would expect that this was foreseen endless game crashing is not fun... second time I give you guys pre order second times you make promises you are not even trying to keep... if you dont want to fix the way you crash instead of queue perhaps stop telling people they have this early access thing when its not going to work for half of em saying pre order now and qualify for a CHANCE a early access would be better

I'm amused that people in this thread think that Primal has room for someone to just shove another world on to it.

Excalibur + Hyperion are the same size combined as Gilgamesh + Balmung.

But yeah, screw those guys on Primal right?

Even Blizzard was nice enough to offer us free server transfers from time to time. Being able to play only 2 hours the entire early access weekend has been a huge letdown.

You know what would fix this? Making the auto kick after 30 min happen no matter how one tries to circumvent it. The last time I was online I saw countless people on auto run against walls or mid craft but not doing anything, or talking to an npc, the same one, for hours on end. I hate the people who do this, but after my experience today I understand why they do.

I'm also experiencing repeated 2002 errors trying to get on Midgardsormr. I've been tied up all weekend and was really looking forward to playing tonight, but it's looking like it won't happen. I hope SE considers moving one of the congested servers or modifying the launcher so that it doesn't kick you to desktop after this error.

The thing they absolutely need to fix is the queue issue. Not much can be done about the amount of people, but the fact that the queue won't even let you in to wait most of the time (( and its never worked properly since they hastily added it for ARR launch )) is the worst part.
