I was able to connect to a JP datacenter and then swapped back to Aether. I've finally made it into a que of 504 for Balmung. Now it's a waiting game to see if I get in or not. The que number is decreasing so, we'll see.

Americans and Europeans all play on the same data centre, in Canada (along with Canadians, and anyone else who speaks English/French/Japanese). The Japanese have a data centre, in Japan, all to themselves, ergo, less problems.

I thought SE had moved the data centre for EU players to Germany a while ago?
