Change in level 45 and 50 job quest rewards

I completed the white mage quest "Following in His Footsteps" the day before maintenance then come to find out yesterday they changed the rewards for that quest from i50 gear to i90 gear. I was wondering if there was a way to recollect quest rewards somehow, but I completely understand if that's not possible or not allowed. I checked and the calamity salvager doesn't have any of the i90 gear even though I did get the cleric's robe from "Heart of the Forest." man what timing lol

And yet the vendors that sell the augmented versions (which still require you to turn in the i55 gear) are still there.

So is the i55 gear no longer attainable, and if so, will the required items be changed in order to obtain the augmented version?

I just found out about this and yes, I also literally did the level 45 Bard job quest the day before HW came out.

I put in a ticket, but was told that "we cannot replace or change quest rewards, but those items are available in level 50 dungeons or for purchase in Mor Dhona".

Really sucks that there was no warning these rewards would be updated - we knew the main story quest would be, which is why I did the job quest instead.

And yeah it is kind of a big deal - that's four i90 pieces we miss out on, which we would have gotten by default if we only waited for a single day.

Yrahv, the i50 items are buyable from Calamity Salvager, so if you really want those you can still get them (and a look at the upcoming level 50 quest for me shows that you still get the i50 rewards as well as the new i90 ones anyway).

So could these i90 pieces at least be added to Calamity Salvager for those that have completed the quest?

I mentioned above, the i55 gear is obtainable from Calamity Salvager and is still awarded from the actual quest along with the new gear
