I don't know exactly what triggered this. I was following Main Scenario quests and one of the NPC's suddenly had no text in their chat boxes OR their confirmation screens. I did battle a Gastornis right before speaking with the first NPC I noticed this with, but other free company members say they encountered this when rapidly clicking through the chat boxes (I do rapidly click through the quests to power through them). Since I cannot click any confirmation boxes or accept/deny anything I am completely unable to continue with anything requiring NPC input. Some free company members reported success in fixing this by completely exiting the game and logging back in (if they can get back in through the 5006 errors...). This did not work for me and I can't get this to fix. I originally thought it was all NPC's but after checking around, it just seems to be the two I mentioned above.

I'll try switching language to see if it helps

Edit: Confirmed that switching language to Japanese advanced the quest. Hard to navigate in a foreign language but it was enough to get me going. Definitely needs to get fixed.

I talked to Emmanellain and Honoroit who were the next quest objectives. They babbled on in unintelligible Japanese and I nodded through the chat boxes. I then logged off and set the language back to English. The next quest objective was Laniaitte, whose chat box was also blank, but the proceeding box was filled in with the quest rewards. I took the reward and now the next quests seem to function properly.

i was just going to report this issue. also having the same problem, managed to work around it by changing the language to japanese to progress the quest
