    Ps4 won't patch error [20512][20496]

    I have been banging my head on this for two days now. Every time I login in to the launcher and try to download the patch, it crashes.
    Things I've tried,
    Downloading the HW addon from the "my addons" section. All this did was increase the patch size from 3gb to 5gb.
    Clearing the cookies off my browser
    My game thumbnail is the new hw icon, the launcher still looks like it always has(I don't know if it is supposed to) I did get the new license agreement after the addon installed
    I would rather not uninstall the game until I know it's a sure thing. 40gb at DSL speeds will take days. SOMEONE HELP!

    Reinstalling the game did not work! Now I have 11gb that won't patch

    I have the same issues exactly I bought (ffxiv heaven sward ce-early access ) from Europe psn store I install the patch files 100% 2 times even I format my ps4 and delete my ffxiv realm reborn and reinstall whole things but still get same errors which is after I login game checking ffxiv arr updater/launcher version I still get this massage

    We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing connection issues with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4.

    We can advise the following, in order to try and resolve the issue:

    1) Firstly, power cycle: Turn off your modem and PS4 for a good 5 minutes. Turn on your modem/router first, and wait until it's booted up completely. Then turn on your PS3.


    2) Go through Settings -> System Settings* -> Restore Default Settings -> This will clear any and all settings on your PS4, leaving any data intact.


    3) After you've correctly set up your PS / Network Connection, try again.

    4) Make sure you have sufficient WiFi connection (if applicable) This should be at least 75% signal strength, and consistent.

    5) We recommend using a landline based Internet service (ADSL or Cable etc) If you are using 3G / 4G, you may experience issues due to the nature of those types of services.

    6) If you still experience issues, we advise contacting your ISP to see if there is anything that can be done in regards to connection issues.

    We hope this helps resolve your issue, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

    Just did that, no luck.
    I have confirmed it is the ISP though. I started using my verizon 4g hotspot and it's downloading flawlessly. Yes I'm burning through loads of data but my ISP wont help me
    Heres our conversation...
    Me- "Something on your end is blocking an update on my PS4. I confirmed it's ISP related by using my mobile hotspot and it works flawlessly.
    Frontier- "We cant help you fix your playstation, contact PSN"
    Me- "Its not PSN, its on your end somehow. Explain to me how it works using a different internet connection"
    Frontier- Are you have any other issues with frontier services?
    Me- No
    Frontier- are you having issues accessing other websites?
    Me- No
    Frontier- Nothing we can do, contact PSN for support. Have a nice day

    I AM FREAKING PISSED BUT THIS IS MY ONLY INTERNET OPTION!!!

    They also claim they don't block traffic so idk. https://frontier.com/networkmanagement/

    I've looked at my router/modem and dont see an issue there. Ive also set up port forward and DMZ and have a NAT 1 connection

    I THINK I SOLVED IT!!!
    I've downloaded almost 1gb already so i thinks i fixed
    Dont use the crappy modem supplied by your ISP. I bridged the Westell modem and hooked up my linksys. It's working like a charm. I will continue to update if it keeps working or failing

    I didn't try this yet but did u try it for good? ,,,coz I still not solve my issue that same as ur ); I email ps4 support but no answer too me so far now complete 3 days trying get this done

    It didn't solve a thing :*(

    Today I will get the game physically ... kinda think there is a glitch cause I just downloaded my game which supposed to be 11GB and after installing it became 39.92GB ... Im not sure but I think that the problem ?
    Will post ASA I try it (probably in 9 hours from now)
