FATE's giving less exp or not updated completely yet?

so I remember getting more exp form higher level FATEs. What I mean is "let say I'm level 30 and I go do a fate. I would get a set percent or at least I assume its a set percent of exp. I am level 50 now and I go do a fate but I'm getting the same amount of exp like I would at level 45." Did they nerf the exp of Fates?

When I saw a FATE give like...18k in CWH, I stopped bothering with fates entirely. They're just simply not worth doing anymore, especially with how badly they handled scaling. It's very annoying that you pretty much have to resort to sidequests given that they're so spread apart and that some sidequests are impossible unless you unlock flight for your area.

well in HW i ried doing lvl 58 fates and they only gave you 15k xp....pretty low when you need around 3,5 mill. xp to lvl

Or it is intented to Quest and not grind FATES yet since they want you to see the story and force us to be not 60 in 1 day?^^
Sure fast lvling is possible with all the quests tho.

You have no armory bonus dont forget, assuming it returns once your are 60 and level another class. I have concerns on how people are going to level second, third or more classes with the amount of exp required per level in Heavensward.

I was thinking the same, that it's probably armory bonus related... it went up from 50% to 100% (or so I read) for classes under 50 to help them catch up, but we don't have it at all until we get from 50 to 60. Which I think means if we level multiple jobs from 50 to 60 at around the same rate it would take much longer.

I did a few zerg fates in Central Coerthas as a lvl 37 Machinist and got like 18k exp each... and then I got like 16k from a level 52 fate on my level 52 Bard where I was there from the beginning and it was arduous even with several people there, and I was like WTF is this?

Northern Thanalan still gives ~15k per FATE. Just go there until this nonsense is fixed.

Yeah, if they want us to keep using their FATE system they seem to be so proud of, there should be some EXP tweaking in Heavensward areas. Coerthas West FATEs giving 15-20k EXP and like 35k for the Big Meanie *dunno the actual name of the FATE* when you need 800k for 50-51, and scaling up to 3.8 million EXP is... not gonna work.

Has anyone hit 60 to see if armory bonus kicks in for a 2nd class in the new areas for FATE? Cause if it gives a bonus towards those FATEs it will likely become worth it. And with many people finally entering the new areas with all of there newly acquired jobs FATES will likely start to be pummeled.

Yeah, right now I feel the same way (only jumping in on them if I'm bored and there is already a group there). I'm hoping that this is a temporary thing, and that we'll be back to standard FATEing relatively soon. For now though I'm just grinding side quests and trying to get through the story (the daily clan hunts help a bit too).
