I agree with everything, this system is pure BS, a lot of people don't play MMOs for the story, but for enjoying group play, craft, raids etc...What they are doing is basically alienating these players. As you said it's pretty hard to enjoy this story quests, 80% of it is just useless BS and the rest you can just watch later, I haven't recommended this game for any of my friends since I got to know about this system and some of them that bought the game anyway are totally not enjoying the useless grind.
