When it was impossible to log into during early access for ARR, you gave us free days

Can you do that again? Or send some other kind of consolation prize as the first day of early access closes and some faithful pre-order customers never got past error #2002?

I did get to log in this morning, but I could only play for 20 minutes before I had to log.... and that's all I've gotten to do today because of error 2002. This board and the GameFAQs board show many others in similar or worse situations.

Doubt it. The pre-order EA WAS the prize and it's a little extra. We need nothing else.
Now if the 23rd is a crapstorm we and not be able to log in for days they may extend our time like they did in 2.0.
Seriously, they've done WAAAAYYY better than 2.0's launch.

It would be one thing if everyone was getting errors, but that isn't the case. Plenty of people are able to log in and play just fine; if you're having issues, just wait a little while and try again. I couldn't get in for a while earlier, so I did something else for about ten minutes, tried again, and was able to log in with no problems.

Yeah the issue seems to be constrained to some servers. I spent the entire day on Lamia with only two hitches - one when I logged in at 6AM, and the one an hour later where my keyboard disagrees with Sea of Clouds (not SE's fault.) And Lamia is a high population server..... just a higher population of low levels so only about 30% of the server was crammed into Ishgard.

If this was a system wide outage and no one could play for a whole week, the odds are much more likely that SE would toss on a few freebie days. However, most servers have been smooth sailing.

They already warned us that we my not even get to play. They said it could still be under maintenance 99.9 % of the time. Just wait they get it fixed over time. I mean that other 3 million people on can't be a issue right?

Did you try change data center then changing back to your data center? That is working for me.

I don't believe issues with early access is what pushed Square to give people a free week. I remember that even after the game went live on launch, the servers were still plagued with problems for days. We'll have to wait until 3.0 goes live and see how it rolls from there.
