    TP Bar for Party

All we want is an option for seeing the party’s TP. Like the one we already have for ourselves.

You can keep the default layout for beginners, because you assume it is too much for us, but have an option for people who played for a while to play. You can add a checkbox option in the character configuration, under party list. If you won’t do it, I ask if this is allowed to be used without penalties. Are TP bar add-ons allowed. I know that there is talk about add on implementation.

There are currently 3 jobs that needs the ability to see a party member’s TP. They are Bard (Army’s Paeon), Ninja (Goad) and Machinist (Promoted Rook Autoturret).

This picture shows the TP Bar in the party list for myself, but not the party. The only thing we want is to extend the same thing we have to the other party members.

Off Topic - The old menu bar fit perfectly in that corner. Now it doesn't.

You do know this is a Third Party Application, right?

I'd rather that this be moved to Suggestions in a different form than having the link in your post, since if I remember it's against Terms of Use.

I think the point being made is, why must players use a third party application to see other party members TP? It should be included as an option in the game. Party TP is relevant. So provide a way for us to see other players TP!

Recent live letter says they are working on this.

I just hope it comes with the ability to turn it off for the thousands of players who DONT want to see it.

Instead of adding another bar... Why don't they just change the existing one to show TP for dps classes. It's not really necessary to see the tanks TP... Cause it's not like most of us can just step in and take the aggro long enough for them to recover.

They have covered this in depth before.

TLDR - PS3 doesn't allow them an elegant simple solution. It is literally at the maximum capacity of it's RAM to even show the current UI elements. That is why they need to do all these acrobatics in the background network to give us a visual (confirmed non-numerical by devs) display of our party members TP.

Once they drop PS3 support, this game can finally spread its wings and we can get all these QoL things we've been asking for, some for years on end.

Yoshida answers a question about the decision not to display party TP when designing the original UI for 2.0. http://youtu.be/4M27MEETG4Y?t=9m8s

Summary of his response: it was done to be friendly to new players unfamiliar with the game, and to avoid "over cluttering" the UI.

Proposed solution, make it an option that may be toggled on or off.

Honestly, I would expect them to understand that when you provide abilities whose purpose is to refresh other player's TP, you should provide a way of seeing their TP.

I hope this does not turn out like it did with FFXI. A third party tool comes out that allows players to see party members TP. Developers then wait twelve years to include it in the actual game. A very "WTF???" indeed.

4 jobs, Astrologian has one card that was TP beneficial even before, and now that it was changed to TP Regen, even more so. That's almost one third of the jobs.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.
