Anyone found Warmwater Bichir at least? There's reports of them coming in from the Smoldering Wastes, but like hell have I found any >:

Smouldering wastes between 9pm-3am ET.

Use the spiders, will sometimes be a straight catch and can also be mooched from blueclaws. It's a guaranteed catch on the mooch.

The pool at Coarthas 8, 9 (Dragonspit) is not accessable to Gulleye IV (lv 55), so it must be 60. There's also a hellfishing hole at Halo (the entrance to Aynx Trine and Churning Mists) that's similarly hidden.

I am having a hell of a time trying to locate Three-lip Carp. It's a level 52 leve turn-in. I even tried ff14angler and xivdb and no one's reported it there yet.

I'm catching a ton of those @ that eastern aetheryte (forget the name atm) @ dravanian forelands. This is using goblin jig though, so lvl 58 required, or some other bait I haven't tried. Odd it'd be a 52 turn-in then.

8am-12pm does feel like the right time for Bowfins. I've tried multiple times and they will hook no matter what the weather is so long as it's within that window.

On another note, the Mogpom market on Balmung was suddenly eviscerated. How unfortunate.

Warmwater Bichir does have a timer, yet no weather requirement. It can be caught between 9pm and 3am ET. In the Smoldering Wastes fishing hole, which is the River directly West of Tailfeather in The Dravanian Forelands. Possible to straight catch with Purse Spiders, yet also possible as a Mooch from Blueclaw Shrimp using Stonefly Nymph. Do not use Snagging if you plan on using the Mooching method. (I've been farming these too much >->)
