    even if you get it - it boots you. This is really irritating, same thing happened when the game came out.

    I had to update my security rules...more specifically, the new DX11 executable needed to be added. Most annoying d@mn thing...it was launching fine in DX9 mode. For some stupid reason it wasn't detecting the new DX11 version and asking me to allow it internet access like it normally does. It's in the /game folder, two executables: ffxiv.exe and ffxiv_dx11.exe.
