    Purchase Mistake Due to Mog Station Glitch

    This morning during my hype to get into the game and wanting to make a brand new Au Ra I bought a fantasia and name change and applied to the only Balmung character displayed. Well, I forgot there was an alt on this account that was a seeker instead of a keeper and the names are nearly identical. My main for some reason did not display so the services were bought for the level 12 alt.

    I talked to live chat who said he could not do anything and all his supervisors were busy due to the HW release so I come here to ask for help. I understand I made a mistake, but if the mog station would have been working properly I would have seen the two characters and I would have been reminded of the alt and double checked. Instead I assumed the one character that was showing as being on Balmung was the main I play everyday.

    I don't care if you delete the alt character if the reason for not being able to issue the refund is due to not being able to take away the services or just take back what was purchased since I have not used either of them. I have not played her for months. I just really feel like I wasted 20 dollars and the fix should be easy on Square's end.

    Please, help me enjoy this awesome expansion.

    Be firm. They'll probably try to tell you that they can't or aren't allowed to but they almost always can. I don't know how many times customer support has told me they can't refund something due to their own mess up but they're usually bullshiting.

    The guy on live chat seemed like he was having a bad day and was in a hurry to plow through the queue. Which sucked, but I can understand working in customer service and seeing a giant queue of customers. I just think that since Mogstation was messed up and he himself even admitted it was messed up that they would be more cool about it. Like I said I have not used the services or logged into that character and would actually be super cool with them deleting the character that it was applied to since I have not played on her since like Dec when I originally bought the game. In fact after this is cleared up I am probably going to delete her just so this won't have a chance of happening again.

    At least you actually got through to someone in the live chat. Earlier I tried to use it for a problem (that I'm still having) and ended up waiting 3 hours in the que for it to tell me when it got to my turn that "there was no one available to help me."

    This all started about 6 hours ago and I had the same thing happen the first time. So, you can imagine how lame it was when after the second time going through the queue to be told "Sorry, you should make sure you are on the right account next time" even though I was on the right account and he even said himself that Mogstation was having problems with displaying people's characters.

    lol. So I go to my alt to use the fantasia 'cause why not since I'm stuck with it and guess what I find in the mail. The fantasia from the vet rewards as well as the one bought by mistake. *sigh*
