My Main Character is missing from Log in

I had to get a new computer to play Hsward

so i re installed FFXIV base and the updated it all day I had purchased the pre release version of Heavensward and did the early access registration and succeeded.

Now when i try to log in to the game the only character i have to choose is a low level one i have not used for over a year. my lvl 50 main character Bard is not anywhere to be seen. she is still in my lodestone and shows up here. but how in the heck are we supposed to find our charcter/ i was not even given the chance to log into teh world i have been playing on Leviathan. isnt our data supposed to be intact?

Pick the one that has the server your main char is in

I tried...it has Leviathan on the list but when i logged onto it it onlyl offered my old character and no listing for Leviathan, i will try again
