It'll never be as bad as the 3201 catastrophe.

It actually is not near as bad as the world of warcraft draenor launch, days of not being able to log in, and drastic lag the whole way through the starting area. I played WoW for 4 years, and seeing countless patches and the new expansion and how horrific they were for a company that has 20x the amount of resources as SE, I would say count your blessings it is not worse than it is.
I have not had to wait to log in for more than 5 minutes, and rarely have encountered the 2002 message.

So I got past the 2002/5006 on Gilgamesh, but now I'm stuck in this endless queue.
being pissed off that i worked hard all day to come back to this
i'm not sure that qualifies as "handling it" though
To be fair, this is the second-largest MMO on the market.
We don't know how many people are actually coming back, joining the game, etc.
Last numbers were 2 million accounts, but we don't know how many are active.
Judging by the servers?
I mean, sure the connection issues are bad? But this is a GOOD thing! This means the game is popular and they didn't expect the load they're getting now!
yea same here, going on a few hours unable to log in at all. What's the use of "early access" when you can't play? Same thing happened with early access when the game first came out.
Good thing? What?
They upgraded their servers after the horrible launch. They should expect it, as all the accounts have come from preorders. It's going to be resolved, but as of now it's very frustrating.

Trying changing data center then change back. It's working for me.
