ERROR 5006 AND 2002 CONSTANT CANT GET IN

I have been crashing all afternoon tried everything including flushing the DNS. I can get to the data center and then trying to connect it never does. This has gotten worse as the day has progressed and I am now spending more time rstarting my computer and trying to log in than actually playing the game. Hopefully you are aware and working on the issue.

Same. I don't think theres really anything to be done. I had a friend say he could get back in but he didn't do anything special, just waited it out.

Ive been having this issue just now. I was playing today no issues, but now I logged off and I keep getting the 2002 and 5006 error. Ive looked up this issue on a lot of different forums posts and reddit posts as well and there doesn't seem to be a fix sadly. I think it has to do with the congestion of the servers and the expansion bringing in a lot of new people. You just gotta keep trying and waiting till it lets you on. I assume this is the only solution though. If anyone actually knows the fix then please say so XD

Unfortunately its been all afternoon and I haven't been able to get in.. SE isn't saying anything to us and its game wide as several forums are complaining. They had ample time to fix bugs before launch and took our 60.00 so we could just sit in forums. Epic launch fail....

I dunno...I recall STO having a pretty bad launch with a couple of their expansion packs. Anyways, I too was playing just fine earlier this afternoon until I got DCed during a FATE and then started getting the 2002 and 5006 errors.

This is just a natural given to a launch. Just be patient. I know it sucks a lot believe me Im pretty bored now as I wait and I was super hyped and I wanna play. Im sure the issue is being fixed.

What the heck is going on| I was able to get in fine during peak hours last night, but all day and night I have been unable to login and get these error messages!! This is ridiculous, how can they not be expecting the login load when they know the number of sales and number of current users. I have been trying for over the course of 12 hours to login, although able to login last night during peak hours. If the servers are full they should create new ones, especially after getting bunch of cash from the expansion.

Square-Enix please post a notice or something to explain what is going on.

I was thinking it was me at first but its nice to know its not my equipment or anything like that. But I agree. A recognition of whats going on would be nice.

TBH I doubt last night was peak hours. Most people(in NA, the only servers I've experienced this error on) were not going to stay up until 2-5AM to play the game right at launch. Right now is when I'd expect highest amount of people to be getting on. Everyone just got off work/school for the day.
