It would indeed, but from what we could tell from the last live stream, it seems the stress on the server for suddenly having to access an inventory 2 to 8 times bigger would be too much.

The way WOW did it is that you didn't actually have access to your full inventory. When you opened your crafting recipes it simply counted the mats in your bank as well as what was in you characters inventory as one set so you could craft directly from all of your mats. It wasn't like you suddenly could pull up all of your tabs at once. You could only access it through the crafting menu.

I think the game is too popular to continue on these low budget servers, honestly. The fact that we have to forgo so many features is really annoying.
