So here is a throw back from September 3 2013 when
"A Realm Reborn" ("ARR") was launched...

"Square Enix launched Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn last week and, well, it’s not gone smoothly.
Servers have crashed, no one can play and gamers are generally getting a little irate."

So obviously Square Enix has learned absolutely nothing from when
they launched A realm reborn and history has repeated itself again
    with "Heavensward".

Ok you make the mistake once.. but you at least learn from it but
that doesn't appear to be the case with Square Enix.

You can tell just by reading though the forums that the people who purchased
early access for Heavensward is more than a little bit irate right now.

"one alarming fact by Square Enix stands out the most -- the current, paid subscription bases
of FFXI, FFXIV and DQX do not even add up to one million combined players."

"Three major MMO titles - Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn which began operation last August,
Dragon Quest 10, which was launched in August 2012, and Final Fantasy 11, which has entered its thirteenth
year of operation-maintain nearly 1,000,000 paying subscribers all together"

If this situation with people not being able to connect to the servers doesn't get fixed
real soon I am sure Square Enix is going to see people start to cancel their subscriptions
because they are fed up with these errors.
