Aye, they did both Odin and Alexander in FFXI well, they were both very impressive.

My favourite and forever will be is good ole Levithan. I played a summoner for almost 6 years in FFXI and if they ever release something along those lines, I might have to ditch my pugilist and return to my mage routes haha.


Be interesting if you would "Battle Regime" Summons eh? (if they ever implement summons) Levi + Shiva = Frozen Tidal wave! ahaha But of course that is a weee bit too much for an MMO! cool idea though if I do say so myself.

I'd like to see Shiva introduced, and if the trend continues she is the most likely to get the ice element's spot.

I never played enough of FFXII to know about the summons...

In fact I stopped playing around about the sunstone part (like, right at the beginning )

The battle system made me angry, and the whole skills system seemed a bit daft. Like, you have to teach the character how to wear a hat?

Put me off enough to stop playing it after only 2 hours. Maybe one day I'll give it another chance... again... for the 5th time...

FFXIV seems to be very much based around elements though so it wouldn't surprise me if they only release primals that we already associate with an element (e.g/ ifrit - fire, shiva - ice, titan - earth, - ramuh/quezacotl - lightning etc.), in which case other summons/gf/aions may miss out as they never really had much of an 'element base'.

Well from what someone said in a different post, apparently Siren has something to do with the echo, so if that's right, she's already part of the lore :3

The concept of turning old bosses into new summons in FFXII was brilliant. Some turned out better than others (Zeromus was a bit meh), but the concept really worked for me.

I cheated on the final Seymour boss on FFX by getting all of Yuna's summons to their limit breaks, then getting Yuna to her limit break, then spamming mass uber summon powers at him, last, summon was Bahamut, as soon as he went down Yuna used her limit break to resummon him at max limit with full health again XD

Poor Seymour, he got roflnuked by a barrage of laser beams, explosions, ice, fire, wind and god knows what else XD

I think shiva goes hand in hand with ifrit in terms of final fantasy games. So hopefully wel see her soon, although i do think there needs to be a new area/zone for her. Maybe a new set of snow beastmen that worship her???? 0_O

Oh and id like to see a giant cactar...lol
