Thanks Khaelia, your suggestion of flushing the DNS worked for me as well. Anyone else stuck with 2002 should try that![]()
There are plenty of other servers with plenty of space. You're just on a popular server. Want to deal with this kind of issue less? Change servers.
Flushed DNS, restarted PC, nothing. Can't get on Aether.
It didn't work for me at first either. This is what I did to get back to the character login screen:
1) Flush your DNS
2) Restart PC
3) Log onto a different Data Center on an alt character. This forces your character to log off immediately from your previous Data Center. This is what I normally do when I get 90k error and can't log back into the game immediately. Log off.
4) Try joining your main character's Data Center.
Hope it works for you!
This worked, I think the trick is when you go to a different data center you need to LOG IN to a character on that server. I was just switching back and forth without logging into the actual game. Thanks, now I just have to wait in queue. It didn't work for me at first either. This is what I did to get back to the character login screen:

LOL I cant even connect to another data center
100% agree with the Flush DNS Cache. Apparently there is a fiber line issue on the east coast of the US which may be interfering with how your IP is routing or something like that. good luck all!!!
I don't believe it has something to do with this -- maybe for select individuals -- it has to be something with the circumstances of your last login. I had logged in fine previously and once the crash at 4 hit I have been unable to get past the lobby error.
When I do miraculously get by the error I sit in an endless Character Queue Loop that counts too 1 then stays this way forever.
I have also tried flushing my internal DNS althought rather than just running ipconfig /flushdns I suggest some people attempt using the following method to FOR SURE clear their cached DNS.
Run Command Prompt in Administration then:
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh interface ipv4 reset
- netsh interface ipv6 reset
- ipconfig /flushdns
- Reset your Computer
Hope those steps fix other peoples issues.
Maybe its just Aether having these issues then. Im on Aether as well and this is happening to me. I keep hearing someone will enter another server though and it works fine. I could be wrong though.
