Yeah, i always assumed it was because it was back in the Squaresoft days, and the now Monolithsoft team was the actual development team or reserved some kind of rights to the story, where as Square reserved the title.
Xenoblade looks awesome, is it out in english?
When all else fails, Heck the Bed.
Interesting! Really? Xenoblade Chronicles.. looks fascinating. But.. Wii? >.<
Was hoping for ps3 version.. on hearing such news, would have bought it today..gutted.
I assume you've played it? Enjoyed it? Resemblance?
Looks like it!
The game was released on June 10, 2010 in Japan, and was released on August 19, 2011 in Europe and on September 1, 2011 in Australia. There are currently no plans for a North American release.
Gee that's a recent release too. I'm just really annoyed it hasn't made it to PS3. ; ;
Both of you shut your mouths!
Xenosaga was excellent, and there's nothing wrong with the Wii compared to the PS3.
XenoGears !
Oh, you could say i'm a sony fanboy, but no grudge specifically against Wii, just that i own a PS3 and this is quite unfortunate.
As for Xenosaga, meh, it had better graphics and nice gameplay, i actually enjoyed it, the prob however is the fact that they put the term Xeno in it's title. That bears a huge burden and standard to live up to. I would have had no complaint had it been named something else
But.. then again.. We have had FF7 as well. Miracles happen from time to time i guess.
That is true. Xenogears was far superior to FFVII.It is still SE Fault! They dint allow the xeno team to make a direct sequel or prequel since SE owns the rights to xenogears, and even when the xeno team was working for SE they dint let them make anything worthwhile, hell they even cut their resources when xenogears was being made, just so square could finish FFVII <.<
That's right. I said it. I'd say it again.
But FFVII was more marketable and less controversial, so it got the resources.
I will agree that Ep.3 was the best in the series, but I'm looking at the trilogy (that was supposed to be six games) as a whole.
Ok ok. I really only said that because the first game was completely devoid of music. And I LOVED the music from gears. Plus, the gears were pretty puny. It had a good story, sadly I never played the following sagas. I heard those did a lot better. Maybe i will someday.
When all else fails, Heck the Bed.
Ah yes, the gears in Saga where really small in episode one, but they fixed that on episode 2-3.
It wasn't completely devoid.
The gears were also useless in Ep.1. Like for real, I never used them except those few scenes where I was forced to.
And hey, most of the music in Ep.2 was throwaway filler music except for the totally awesome cutscene music by Yuki Kajiura.
