I'm having a similar problem with alt tabbing in fullscreen. Also alttabing in full screen seriously conflicts the dual screen effect(second monitor goes black or resets the function to simple screen and need configure from the start). In the previous client version none of the above problems happened.I am suspicious of dx11 problem. But I can't be sure.
I also am having this issue. It is also affecting my game play as when you do alt tab out and click the window again which goes back to full screen, I am not able to click on anything in the game at that point and have to force shut it down. I am using the DX11 client. I have tried this with the DX9 client and do not have this issue.

thanks I try dx9 though I do like dx11 gam looks great
Try using borderless window instead, it's what I do and have no problem alt+tabbing out of the game.
Aye, I would like to also use the DX11 client as the game looks really nice, but I shouldn't be forced to change how I display the window just so I can play with DX11. It is an obvious issue that needs to be addressed.

Only problem with windowed-mode is that it drops the performance of the game.If you can aford it by all means use it.
