DX11 Resolution options

The full screen resolutions for the DX11 client seem to be considerably less than those for the DX9 client. Here is the comparison for my system.

The issue is that with the DX11 client I am unable to play with triple monitor resolutions on full screen mode.

While activating Borderless Windowed mode does allow for the resolution to stretch across all 3 monitors, this makes Crossfire stop functioning as it only works in full screen mode. Without Crossfire the FPS drop drastically and the game is unplayable in this situation.

I'm unsure if this was intentional or just an oversight, but please allow multiple resolutions to be selected in the DX11 client similar to the DX9 client.

Might be an issue with what your driver is exposing. If you haven't done so already, might want to go into the control panel and such to make sure you've enabled the unsupported resolutions for your monitor (forget the exact wording but the option states something to that effect). Might need to create/test/save custom resolutions as well through the graphics card's interface as well.

Last case scenario you might be able to manually edit the config file to use the larger values. Haven't had a chance to poke around yet...but pre-patch the file was plain text with clear labels for the values.

I've tried multiple resolutions within the catalyst control center, and tested them out but the maximum resolution stays at 1920x1080 in-game.

I've also tried manually changing the config file to the resolution for my 3 monitors, but when I run the game it switches to its default resolution and windowed mode.

It seems to be something with the client itself since the DX9 client was actually showing all the resolutions unlike the DX11 client.

Just curious...is your desktop set for 1920/1080? At one time I couldn't set it any higher than my desktop setting with the old client. I had to configure custom resolutions in order to do it. Forget the details...but it was some advanced scaling options in the NVCP. Don't recall if CCC has something similar in its pages...haven't booted the PC since it started getting so hot (has cooling issues and my room has bay windows facing the sun all day--will be 83 in there when I get home).

My desktop resolution is set at 5896x1080 with bezel compensation, and since the game only goes up to 1920x1080 when I play with DX11 it deactivates the other 2 monitors.

I'm having the exact same issue.
There used to be an Eyefinity resolution in Fullscreen on DX9, but with DX11 it will only go up to 1920x1080.

This is unfortunate, though Borderless Windowed Mode uses my Eyefinity resolution, but seems to cap my FPS to 30~ish. I was getting 60 - 90 in DX9. I knew i would lose some FPS in DX11, but not quite this badly on an R9290x.

Same thing here. Borderless works but not full screen, so my crossfire wont work. Disappointing, I was looking forward to it(pun not intended, but enjoyable). I'm sure they have bigger problems atm though.

having the exact same problem, i posted yesterday! AMD Crossfire setup 270x. I tried to edit the config file to force mine to 5980x1080 but the game just changed the config back to 1920.

Back to DX9 until it is sorted.

Kinda bummed about this being stuck on DX9 to run in eyefinity and running the 15.5 drivers still just 1920x1080 in dx11

Well just installed the 15.6beta drivers and still the same

same problem...Wife plays on one monitor DX11 is awesome, I want to use it too. SE please address.
