I play on wutai as well and dont think its dead yet my ls are active and although Limsa and grid are quiet i always see lots of people in uldah.

Ps3 won't have its own server when it comes out, they assume the game will be good enough at that time retain a lot of the ps3 population. If they don't, I think then they will talk about server merging.

The thing is, many people find it hard to do content, or find parties, on low-population servers, so even if it is an inconvenience to transfer servers/merge, then it will probably help SE retain players who might otherwise leave due to low population numbers.

Leaving servers to become ghost towns is probably a greater inconvenience in the long run.

Once the game is, in SE's opinion, worth charging a subscription fee for, then yes.

Once the game has been released for the PS3 (and is therefore fully released as originally planned), then yes.

Right now, the game is unfinished. I don't even think you could call this a beta. It's a unique situation where we are able to play a game that is still in development.

Like what others have said, Wutai is not that underpopulated. Same as Trabia. Both Wutai and Trabia are some of the most socially active servers and they can look kind of dull at the moment. Most of us here have nothing to do now other than our leve resets/locals. We've done Darkhold to death. lol

Download 1.19 and watch how active wutai will suddenly become.

Die Entwickler haben mich wissen lassen, dass sie für Dungeons gerne ein neues Gruppen-Rekrutierungssystem einführen möchten und auch über den Weltentransfer machen sie sich Gedanken. Einen Zeitplan konnten sie mir jedoch noch nicht sagen.
