Au Ra naming conventions are up

This is possibly old news as I don't know when this was posted. But in case people don't know still:

Looks my name fits NEITHER XD I'll have to come up with an RP reason for that because I don't really want to confuse friends with a name change. Anyway, it looks really in depth. I love that Raen went for more classical Japanese and the Xaela tribes actually describe what features/traits they pride in each tribe.

EDIT: this tribe in particular...I laughed but at the same time I find it interesting.

Ugund: When members of this tribe die, their heads are removed from their bodies and placed in a jar of fermented goat milk. Once the liquid has been drunk by the head (in other words, evaporated), the head is then buried under an anthill so that the tiny workers can carry the spirit to the afterlife. The journey is thought to be a terrible one, the road filled with ghosts of the damned, so ensuring the spirit is drunk helps ease the journey.

if your going Xaela you can pretend your last name is a tribe that has long been forgotten or appropriated into another tribe. just like what was said in the naming conventions

"The Othardian steppe is a vast region, therefore, every so often, one may come across a Xaela with a surname that is not found on the list of 51. This may mean that they are from a clan that was recently destroyed or absorbed. It may mean that they are of a new tribe that was formed by members leaving another. It may mean they are of a tribe that remained hidden in the northern mountains."

Could make up some background history for your character with that, pretend you were born a Xaela to a Raen family. The only black-scaled AuRa in a tribe of white-scale Raen.

Because of the little tidbit about being able to use other tribe names, I'm going to stick with the one I came up with a couple months ago and just say that my boyfriend and I's characters split off and made their own tribe that they didn't have any interest in expanding.
Which fits, because we don't really play with anyone else but explore/do everything together.

Looks like my character's first name fits in nicely (despite the 'r' being replaced with 'L') with the Raen naming conventions for females, but not so much for the surname. Oh well, close enough :P
