Going into 1.19, I'm growing more worried about whether or not we're going to see a repeat of the gear scaling we've had since launch. The scattered pieces of gear - the incomplete sets. Unless I'm mistaken, there's been no official word saying that they're going to introduce full sets of crafted equipment for every class, just that we'll obviously be getting new gear. But will it again be only half sets?

As it stands, we have very little full-sets that can be crafted. (High ranking. I'm not talking about low rank sets at the moment, which we do have plenty of.) In fact, the only one I can think of is the plate set. That has a head piece, chest piece, gloves, boots, and belt all the same rank and part of the same set. Haubergeons come in a close second with a head piece, chest piece, and boots.

Other classes just have a jumble of random pieces of gear that they end up having to piece together to make full sets. Often of varying ranks and usefulness. Let's take pugilist for example. If you were to go the crafted route, the highest rank gear available just doesn't match up - both set-wise and rank-wise.

Highest rank head piece is 48 - A silver Tricorne, not matching to any set.

Highest rank chest piece and gloves 45 - Harrier's Jackets, which only match spiked leather armguards.

Highest rank belt is again only 45 - a voyager's belt.

Highest ranked boots are R43 - armored caligae.

Most of those pieces of equipment aren't even optimal choices, simply the highest ranked pieces of gear.

Am I the only one who is nervous about this happening again, or is everyone else confident in SE's ability to deliver full sets of same-rank equipment for every class?
