Returning L.50 player after 1 year hiatus

Hello!

I took a year off after the birth of my son and just got the PS4 version which gave me 30 more days to check out the world again. I have no idea what I should do to prepare for the expansion.

I have a L.50 WHM and ARC. I don't have a MSQ in my log (last I recall I completed the quest that gave me the mech mount and that was it at the time). Where can I go to pick up the MSQ line again so I can get prepared.

Also what are the best ways to gear up to the ilvl 90 requirement (currently sitting at ilvl54).

Lastly, looking to join a FC on Adamantoise (or be convinced to roll a new character elsewhere!)

If you have completed the main story quest to get the magiteck armored mount, then your likely next to stop will either be Mor Dhona or the waking sands in a building west of horizon. I would be more than happy to help you out, but I'm way over in Coeurl server You can check your last story quest you have completed, and if you do not see The Price of Principles, you should definitely head to the Waking Sands.

As far as gearing up, from what I've heard, the MSQ quests will now give appropriate gear. Also, they announced today that as part of the welcome back campaign, you'll get some free i120 gear. That should boost you along!

Awesome, thank you very much! I was at a loss not knowing where to pick up the next part of the MSQ. Unfortunately the game has frozen on me after starting up the Price of Principles so I'll have to try again later today.

Does anyone know where to find this rumored welcome back i120 gear?

Thanks Velisra - I've read a crap-ton of patch notes and the amount of information I've missed was overwhelming so I came here to hopefully just get bullet points since I logged in and was like holy cow what do I do.
