Found this on reddit...now, yes it has been nerfed, meaning a 10k health tank will only have 1000hp SS instead of a 1800hp ss , it's still nice, and with the faster recast time it can be put on more often, but the MP cost seems to be the same, meaning WHM's would have to dip into their mana pool quite a bit if they like spamming SS.

As we know with SCH's, if their aldoquiom critical heal "When critical HP is restored, damage nullification is doubled." meaning, right now at the end of ARR , my SCH was doing between 3200 - 3800 critical Aldoqiums, meaning a 6400 - 7600 HP Shield. This is HUGE in comparison.

However what do you guys think? was the SS nerf really needed? and with these changes, are players going to want stoneskin still?

I don't think a galvanize comparison is fair. That's scholars thing.

But what IS fair I think is stoneskin vs...stoneskin. Since I can use that on sch. And so can ast. But the big stoneskins were whms thing. And now they don't have that for what seems like no real reason.

whm lose all their exclusives. even a paladin can now cast proshell. and what did we get? 0,5 faster cast for stoneskin? that's laughable. okay, whm still has the best aoe heal but is that enogh compared to AST? i don't think so...
