Is there a place, where we can post Recruit a friend codes? Could we make a thread?

Twintania and a cool chocobo mount are locked behind recruit a friend. Why not make a thread or a designated location?

Think the point is to get an actual "friend" to play together with you and not some random on forums where you are just going to ditch him after you get your items.

All my friends already play the game. Just like a lot of other people, there's enough of us in the same boat to sink it. There is already talk of people buying 3 copies or making another account last x amount of days. I plan to buy 3 copies if I cant find random friends, of off steam next time it goes on sale. This could be a nice little way for new players to get free items for those who could care less about find some player like myself, but just want items.

EDIT: bonus, hell ill even give them some gil. Id be willing to give 1mil to each player that sigh's up q up with them for some harder content at lvl 50, up to 3 people. Not as a im paying you, but as a thank you and good luck on your journey type thing.

That's not a bad idea, though it is limited. The chances of a new player who hasn't bought subscription time yet coming to the forums are..slim. It can't hurt to have people's codes up in case someone does happen to glance through.

Sorry but Chihaya is right no one will come to these forums before they make an actual account. Also the whole point is to get real life friends to join not try to get yourself stuff.

Woah, calm down. I even said myself the chances of someone without game time paid already coming to these forums are slim. In the quote you quoted yourself. And that's a very limited view. Quite a few people actually make friends through "recruit a friend" features in games like this precisely because they don't already have friends interested in the game but can meet someone else who does.

Never said you were angry. Calm down can refer to being hasty or quick to assume things, or even too excited. So I apologize since I technically did the same thing.

Not too sure how successful its been for people giving out the codes but its worth giving a shot.
