Man I hope the OP is trolling because:
This game is a lot better than when it was released, although i thought the old style was repetitive but new everything is a lot better than it was before.
-How the heck is this game hard for you? this is one of the most casual friendly and "easy mode" game there is out there, try playing another mmorpg and you will see what i mean, if anything they need to beef up the difficulty a bit more.
-guild leve give a ton of xp and sp now I am not sure what you are talking about.
-the mp changes were some of the best things they added to the game, although i agree they went a tiny bit overboard, but it was to balance the game. I forget what it was before, but the reason mp was low was due to old way where you could not rest for mp, but i guess they forgot to balance it after patch and I have to say anyone complaining about it should be kicked/slapped to reality. Spamming cure/etc non stop for almost no mp was retarded and made the game extremely baby mode, what fun is it when you play the game god mode 24/7, i mean I am main mage in the game and I can keep my mp over 50% almost 24/7 its a bit easy still but hey maybe its just me. you have to go out of your way to drain everything, there is stygian spikes/syphon mp/6 min ability and rest when you put away weapon you almost have to go out of your way to play bad.
The OP is the reason mmorpg today are turning to crap because they want everything handed to them on a silver platter, have their hands hold forever and just steam roll play godmode/easy mode 24/7 without any kind of challenge.
Better than Trolling thats for sure....

It's usually players who are not intellectually capable of adapting that dislike changes such as these. After 1.18, it was said in the next letter from the producer that they felt that they may have went a little overboard on some changes (guessing they meant MP, but it was said in general) and they'll be adjusting them along the way. However, that is sort of pointless to me to write any change off after a first impression specifically if the change is to add a bit of challenge. It was easy to just sit there and spam AOE heals without gaining that much hate doing so.
Also, way to go making a thread of last month's news. A lot of people hated the change til they finally wrapped their head around it and started to understand the vision and reasoning of this change, also, the strategy behind it.
Also, I'd have to say even if this change is extreme, I believe it would be more helpful for the player base to get used to this before they edit it down and balance it. It's a good learning experience during this system looking at where they see their battles going once everything is in it's right place and they are comfortable with the completely finished system. Finally, stop spamming Cure IIIs. If you run out of MP that quickly during leves it's cause you're still locked in pre 1.18 battle system. Save III for emergencies, Stygian Spikes works wonders, Spiritbind is a muffin basket from heaven, and Soughspeak II will keep your enmity down through group battles.
/em slowly descending ray-bans; get used to it.

I don't understand why people think I am trolling! The game was designed for casual solo play and party play but it failed and this game will because more of a FFXI clone! This is disgusting!
Also, the reason I want to play solo is because I don't like playing with the community. I'm just sharing my opinion and everyone is throwing knives at me. You guys don't understand freedom of speech.
Anyways....
